Radiant yoga is about cultivating beauty & grace in the hardest of moments. In order to meet increasing external demands, we need to have an internal energy reserve ~ the capacity to respond & not react. That is where change & maturity can happen. Cultivating acceptance and love of self nourishes a connection to our own soul, our divine nature. When a soul connection is established and maintained life becomes more meaningful; true & lasting happiness can be found. We then have energy & desire to serve others. When we strive to be our best self, I believe, we most effectively influence others. How we lead our individual lives is our contribution to the collective. Knowing our divine nature, being true to oneself, is a powerful catalyst for sustainable change.
I am a Boise native & have had great opportunities to explore this area & to live in other beautiful areas of the NorthWest. I deeply love and appreciate the beauty that is all around. I especially enjoy taking pictures of plants & mushrooms.
I have been interested in metaphysical healing since my teens. I particularly enjoy learning new thought & A Course in Miracles. My daily Kundalini Yoga practice has been the catalyst for my personal growth. In my opinion the technology of Kundalini Yoga is an effective vehicle for grounding spiritual principles. Nothing has helped me more to change a negative state of being to a positive than Kundalini Yoga.
My personal discovery of Kundalini Yoga happened 20 years ago in Portland, Oregon. Throughout the years Kundalini Yoga has been a part of my life in varying degrees. In 2001 I attended Kundalini Yoga Research Institute level 1 teacher training at the ashram in Espanola, NM, where Yogi Bhajan lived and taught.
In 2015 I was re-inspired to deepen my personal Kundalini Yoga practice. I attended Level 1 Kundalini Yoga teacher training, this time in Massachusetts, at Kripalu, taught by Hari Kirin Kaur Khalsa and Ajeet Kaur.
The past 4 summers I participated in 3ho summer solstice celebration in Espanola, NM, where I completed four of the five level 2 teacher trainings.
I love to share & inspire others. When one rises up we all rise up together.
“Love is the ultimate stare of human being where compassion prevails and kindness rules.”
-Yogi Bhajan
